DriveAway Holidays GPS interactive

DriveAway Holidays introduced a new product for their range of Holidays options - a GPS system.

As the benefits of GPS and driving in an unusual environment were not immediately obvious, the decision was taken to show exactly how helpful it would be by incorporating a GPS into a driving simulation.

This is would be then hosted on the DriveAway website, and used to provide travel agents a memorable introduction into the world of the GPS.

We created this driving game, written in Flash Actionscript.

Flash provides the best platform for deploying this kind of interactive application on the internet. It's a platform that's constantly evolving, and one that we enjoy working on.

From artwork assets, to custom written code, the whole team at RBD pulled together to produce the GPS experience. The end result here was a game that was both fun to develop, and even better to drive.
